So with the influence of Pastor Elaine I am officially starting a blog; as noticed. Let's see its currently 12 am and I am not tired because I have had this strange habit lately of sleeping for about twelve hours a night so I have to drag myself out of bed in the morning and can't fall asleep until late at night.
On another note God never ceases to amaze me! Seth, the special needs boy that I work with, has not walked without a walker since December 2007 because of a broken leg and the fear of breaking his leg again. Myself and some others have been praying for him to not be attacked by fear and to have the courage to work at walking. Monday after a week of not having a wheelchair and only using his walker Seth decided that the walker was bothersome and that he didn't need it. We were at Starbuck's, one of his favorite places and Seth was frustrated because his walker kept getting stuck on things so finally he held out his hand to me and stepped out of his walker and signed to me to leave his walker and he walked next to me just holding my hand as you would do with a friend!! God is so amazing! I was so proud of Seth I started calling everyone I could think of that knows him and I later took him to get milkshakes were he then told me to leave his walker in that car there too!!! This is so amazing and I give God all the credit!
Well I need to go to bed so I will be able to function at morning prayer. Tomorrow Seth have physical therapy, we'll see how Darin, his therapist reacts to him walking!
